There are several options for dog ear protection that you may consider researching and discussing with your veterinarian.
The first being active noise cancelling hearing protection for dogs. Active noise cancelling includes an electronic with a small microphone that captures the external noise and generates the opposite sound wave that is played through the electronic inside the headphone to the ear. This opposite sound from the speaker in the headphones cancels out the original sound wave as it travels to the ear. This results in a reduction of the external noise. Active noise cancelling headphones also include passive noise cancelling, sometimes referred to as ear muffs.
Option two is to use earmuffs designed for dogs. These are cups or covers that encase your dogs ears, that also have foam inside to cover the ear. These can help to muffle the external noises. It is important to choose the right size and fit for your dog to ensure they are comfortable and do not cause any discomfort. Some owners find it challenging to keep some muffs on their dogs head. Dog Ear Muffs are less expensive then active noise cancelling headphones for dogs because they DO NOT have the microphone and speakers inside of them.
A third option is dog head wraps. They are good to protect your dogs ears from high winds, like the blow dryer, and can also add swaddling comfort during stressful times. Dog head wraps do not additional levels of noise dampening foam like dog earmuffs, or Noise Cancelling Headphones for Dogs. Dog head wraps do not contain noise dampening foam and they DO NOT have the microphone and speakers inside of them.
PAWNIX Noise Cancelling headphones for dogs is state of the art with 2 microphones for hybrid noise cancelling for you dog. PAWNIX's passive noise dampening foam has a high NRR Rating, and surrounds the dogs head to guard against additional vibrations from loud noises. PAWNIX surrounds the head like a wrap, making it easy to stay on, as well as provides a swaddle effect to the dog.
Regardless of the option you choose, it is always a good idea to consult with your veterinarian to determine the best course of action for your specific dog and their needs.
Dog Behaviorists and Veterinarians have recommended PAWNIX for dogs who are especially sensitive to loud noises or who have anxiety related to loud sounds
If you would like to know more about ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING TECHNOLOGY continue reading here:
Active noise cancelling (ANC) technology works by using a microphone to pick up sound waves from the environment and then creating an opposite sound wave to cancel out the original sound. This process is based on the principle of destructive interference, where two sound waves with opposite phases cancel each other out and reduce the overall noise level.
The ANC headphones or earbuds have small microphones on the outside that capture the external noise and then generate an anti-sound signal that is played through the headphones. This anti-sound wave cancels out the original sound wave, resulting in a reduction of external noise.
The ANC technology also has a digital signal processing (DSP) system that analyzes the sound waves and adjusts the anti-sound wave accordingly to optimize the noise cancellation. The system can detect and cancel out a wide range of noises, including low-frequency noises such as airplane engines or traffic noise.
It's worth noting that ANC technology is most effective for reducing constant and low-frequency noises, such as the hum of an airplane engine or the noise of a busy street. While most on the market may not be as effective in canceling out sudden or high-frequency noises, such as a loud clap or a whistle,
the engineers at PAWNIX Noise Cancelling Headphones for dogs have spent time researching and applying the learning from the human headphones space in order to overcome this challenges presented by sudden bursts of noises.

Thanks for your hard work to date.
My question is:
Any discussion for use with motorcycle, more especially a loud Harley Davidson motorcycle engine.
My pup loves to ride, but I am concerned for her hearing.
We go on the small bike and Vespa no problem. But the big boy bike is on a different level.
Plus, I was just reading about human’s ears and wind noise damage for those who go on long motorcycle rides
4-5 + hours.
Just a thought, as I was watching your Shark Tank presentation and you mentioned that the product was specifically tuned for fireworks. Thus, my curiosity for Motorcycle noise.
Blessings!
